Hi, I’m AJ —

the photographer behind AJSM Photo!

I’ve always been drawn to documenting life as it happens — the raw, the joyful, the imperfectly beautiful. I started taking photos back in grade school with my first little digital camera (thanks to my grandma!), and I’ve been chasing light and memories ever since. What started as a creative outlet turned into a full-blown passion and, eventually, my dream job.

I’m originally from the Philippines and moved to Arizona in 2018 with my husband, Pat. Together, we’ve built a life full of creativity, love, and three very spoiled dogs. When I’m not shooting or editing, you can usually find me at the gym, binging a new series, or working alongside Pat on our other venture, AM PM Weddings.

AJSM Photo is my love letter to storytelling — capturing people, brands, and moments that matter. Whether it’s portraits, events, or creative projects, my goal is always the same: to make every photo feel personal, intentional, and a little bit artful.
